the collection of personal information on-line and the manner, timing and nature of the information Data Controllers should provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of connection, as well as the provisions of Directive 2002/58/EC, as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC, concerning cookies and the provisions of the Measure of the Data Protection Authority dated 8 May 2015 “Finding Simple Ways for Providing the Notice and Obtaining Consent to Use Cookies“.

Data Controller
Pursuant to Article 28 of the Privacy Act, the Data Controller of the data collected on this site is PPM Industries SpA, in the person of its legal representative in office, with address Via G. Terzi, S. Agata 23, Brembate di Sopra (BG), Italy, with EEC VAT Reg. No. IT02099620169 (hereinafter “PPM”). It independently decides on the aims and processing method and security procedures to apply to guarantee confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data.

Data processor
Pursuant to Article 29 of the Privacy Act, the Data Processor is the Marketing Manager.

Type of data processed
Personal and identifying details.
Personal details are any information related to an individual, identified or identifiable even indirectly by reference to any other piece of information, including a personal identification number. Identifying data are personal details which allow for directly identifying the data subject (such as first name, surname, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number, etc.).

Browsing data
During normal operation computer systems and software procedures responsible for keeping this site working collect some personal information whose transmission is implicit in use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but given their nature could allow for identifying users when processed and associated with data kept by others. Falling in this category of data are IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilised by users who connect to our site, URI addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used for submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

Defence in court proceedings
The personal details of the user can be utilised for defence of the Data Controller in court or in preparatory stages to any lawsuit, from abusive use of the same or related services by the user. Processing and storage of your data
Personal information is mostly processed electronically and by using screen-based methods by PPM and by other subjects, which duly selected for their reliability and competence, perform useful operations that are strictly necessary for pursuing the aims connected to using the website and its services. The data will be kept for no longer than the time necessary for achieving the purpose they were collected for.

Purpose of processing your personal data
The specific ends for which data are processed are summarised each time in the notice under Art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, which is displayed for the user when he enters his personal details.

In general, personal information provided voluntarily is processed for the following purposes, unless any
objection is made:

B) — prior consent for subscribing to the newsletter service of PPM for receiving promotional emails and commercial messages from PPM and for other direct marketing activities for receiving through automated mail services, traditional post or other means of communication of informative and promotional, commercial and advertising materials related to goods and services offered and events to be held by PPM;

Optional or obligatory nature of giving your data
Apart from what is specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide his personal information.

Providing your personal details for the purposes referred to in point A) is optional but necessary for using theservices you ask the Data Controller to use and for using specific features. Not providing your data can make it impossible to obtain what you requested or to use the services of the Data Controller.

In contact areas or in areas dedicated to completing forms providing personal information in the fields marked with an * is optional but necessary for submitting the contact request form, for completing registration or for other specific features. Not providing such information can make it impossible to obtain what you requested or to use the services of the Data Controller. On the other hand, entering your personal information in fields not marked by an * is optional and not completing these fields has no negative consequences on using the service
provided by the Data Controller.

Consent to data processing for the purposes indicated in B) — meaning for promotional purposes, for commercial and marketing communications in general by PPM — is always optional. Without it the Data Controller can still provide the services referred to in point A) and the user can still use other features and the services provided by the Data Controller — point A) (e.g. sending contact request, etc.)

Subjects your data can be disclosed to
Your information shall be disclosed to third parties only with your consent, except for disclosure required by law or necessary for the purposes provided by law not requiring the consent of the data subject. In that case your data can be made available to third parties who will process them independently solely for the above-mentioned purposes (for instance if asked by the Police Force or the judiciary or other concerned entities or for fulfilling obligations arising from the contract concluded with you). Your data will not be diffused in any way.

Subjects that can process your personal information
PPM has decided to use third parties for processing your personal information for certain tasks. The third parties carrying out these operations have been carefully selected and have experience and skill and are dependable and provide adequate guarantee of their full compliance with applicable data processing provisions, including from the data security standpoint.
Such subjects perform their service by following the instructions given by PPM and under its supervision. Periodically we verify that data processors have promptly carried out the tasks assigned and continue to provide adequate guarantees of full compliance with personal data protection provisions. Your information is processed by our delegates responsible for individual services. The workers carrying out these tasks depend on the purposes for which the data have been conferred and are always indicated in the notice displayed when you provide your personal information.

Security measures
PPM takes adequate security measures for limiting the risk that data are destroyed or lost, even accidentally, and limit unauthorised access or processing or not within the aims of collection specified in our Privacy Policy.

Nevertheless PPM cannot guarantee the users of this site that the security measures taken on this site and for transmission of data and information to the site reduces or counteracts the risk of unauthorised access or loss of data saved on the user’s devices: We recommend that you make sure your PC has adequate software for protection of network data transmission, both inbound and outbound (such as updated antivirus systems) and that your Internet service provider has taken adequate security measures for network data transmission (such as firewall and anti-spam filters).

You have the right at all times to obtain confirmation as to whether there is any data on file about you and to know the content and source, verify their accuracy and ask for data to be added, updated or corrected (Article 7
